Pricing and Availability
On hand quantities listed on this website reflect the stock on hand at our Glebe branch; titles with no on hand quantity are not in stock and will need to be obtained from our suppliers or one of our other branches. While Gleebooks attempts to ensure that prices and availability status listed on this website are correct, prices may vary for reasons beyond our control, for example, for titles listed on this website, but not currently in stock, and that must be re-ordered. Titles listed as in stock are on occasion unable to be found on the shelf.
If any variation in price occurs Gleebooks will ALWAYS contact you via email to confirm your order before we charge your card an additional sum or despatch. Titles listed as not in stock are generally obtainable within 7-14 days. Similarly, we will ALWAYS contact you via email to confirm your order if a title is expected to take longer than 14 days to obtain.
All prices quoted on this web site are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of the Australian 10% goods & services tax (GST). Books despatched to overseas addresses are GST exempt and will be sold at the listed price, less the GST component.
Returns and Cancellations
Gleebooks will (a) refund, or (b) replace books, or (c) exchange items purchased from our website, provided goods are returned within 30 days, and are in good condition, and are accompanied by our official receipt/tax invoice. Customers can cancel orders for any unsupplied items at any stage for a full refund.
When returning goods to Gleebooks, we only cover the cost of postage for goods that are faulty or damaged prior to delivery. Postage costs for all other returns will be at the expense of the purchaser. Returns should be mailed to our main shop (see Contact in the top menu).
Delivery
Delivery is generally via an Australia Post trackable parcel service. Titles in stock will be despatched within 1-2 working days of receipt of your order. Multi-item orders will be despatched when all items have arrived into the shop, though we will happily split shipments of large orders if requested; though in some cases we may request an additional postage charge. If other delivery times or prices apply, you will be contacted via email.
Price per parcel within Australia: $10.00
Australia Post Express parcels up to 3kg): $ 23.00 This service is a next-day service to most metropolitan areas but Australia Post does not guarantee it. We will confirm before we despatch any additional charges, should your consignment weighs over 3kg. If you need your parcel urgently be sure to check we have the items in stock!
Gleeclub members: free and unlimited anywhere within Australia
Outside Australia: Delivery is via an Australia Post tracked service and is dependent on the weight and destination of the parcel. The shipping charge indicated on the checkout page is based on a typical medium sized paperback book. If charges should happen to exceed the indicative rates on the checkout page we will contact you with the exact charge via email before we despatch; allowing you to confirm, modify or cancel your order Please be aware that with all international orders, duties and customs in the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.
We can quote on a tracked/registered service, and/or heavier consignments. Please request, or indicate any preferences in the order notes field at the time you place your order. A typical postage charge for 1-2 paperbacks to Europe or the USA is AUD $20-$25.

Gleebooks will not share your personal information with any third party without your permission, except where required to by law. Cookies are only employed internally on this website to facilitate your navigation around the website and in remembering what items are in your shopping basket the next time you visit the site.
